At the November 3, 2010 public hearing, comments were received regarding the preservation of water views and concerns about the future development potential of the parcels lying adjacent to the 11th Street right of way. The attached Ordinance requires the following to be provided: 1) a 20 foot wide easement for water views; 2)restrictions on the future development of the parcels lying adjacent to 1 lth Street; and 3) compensation in the amount of$70,000 be provided to the City for the right of way area being vacated. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt Ordinance vacating that portion of 11th Street lying west of Grand Ave subject to the conditions as set forth in the Ordinance. 1
