•
3. Twenty compact disks with PDF file copies of the water plan and appendices.
4.. Two CDs with all of the CSP deliverable base files used in the project (Word, Excel, GIS,
InfoSWMM).
Task 1800 - Subconsultant MGS Design Storm Consulting
Objective
To provide consulting services for assistance in determining the appropriate design storm(s) to
be used for the sewer system analysis.
MGS Services
1. Build upon recent work for the City to review historical rainfall data from rain gauges in the
vicinity of Everett. Discuss the rationale used to select gauges and rainfall data.
2. Update recommendations for a long term (20 years or greater) rainfall time series with short
time increments (5 minutes) for use in analyzing the combined sewer collection system
within the City of Everett.
3. Identify any measureable and/or significant differences in rainfall patterns within the City and
provide recommendations on the impact to the rainfall time series that will be used in the
system modeling analysis.
4. Assist the project team in selecting design rainfall events in subsequent sewer collection
system analysis.
Assumptions
1. Up to three meetings will be held with the City. The first will be to identify, collect and review
rainfall data. The second meeting will be to review the rainfall analysis and document the
recommended rainfall time series. A third meeting may be held to review subsequent
design event selection.
Deliverables
1. Draft and final technical memoranda documenting rainfall within the City of Everett and
recommendations for representative long term rainfall series for analysis in the sewer model
—emailed Word and PDF files.
Task 1900 — Subconsultant HWA LID/GSI Consulting
Objective
To provide consulting services to determine the applicability of Low Impact Development (LID)
and/or Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) improvements with shallow or deep infiltration that
could be considered as options to reduce the volumes of stormwater entering the City's
combined sewer system.
HWA Services
1. Perform a review of available geologic and hydrogeologic data, including soil maps, geologic
maps, boring logs, well logs, and HWA in-house data, for the Everett area.
City of Everett Comprehensive Sewer Plan Update Scope of Services April 2011
