Develop a map that can be used as a planning tool to identify areas suitable for various low- <br /> - impact development stormwater methods incorporating infiltration. <br /> 3. Areas will be identified as: <br /> A. Likely suitable for.surficial infiltration (permeable soils present at the surface) low & high <br /> suitability. <br /> B. Likely suitable for deeper infiltration (permeable soils present at depth) low & high <br /> suitability. <br /> C. Likely unsuitable for infiltration due to poor soils, shallow ground water, steep slopes, <br /> hazardous materials, etc. <br /> 4. Visit the project area and perform a visual reconnaissance of selected areas, and conduct <br /> limited shallow hand boring explorations within public rights-of-way to confirm mapping. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. All hand explorations will be conducted within public rights-of-way, with no traffic control or <br /> utility coordination required. <br /> 2. HWA will be provided base mapping. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. A brief technical memorandum including: results of our data review, an opinion regarding the <br /> feasibility of infiltration, issues associated with various stormwater infiltration methods, and <br /> rough estimates of infiltration rates based on expected soil types. Draft and final Word and <br /> PDF files. <br /> 2. A map depicting the areas and layers describe above, in AutoCAD or GIS format and b) <br /> Adobe PDF format, hard and electronic copies. <br /> Task 2000 — Additional Services <br /> Objective <br /> To provide additional undefined or as-requested services to the City. <br /> HDR Services <br /> 1. It is difficult to accurately anticipate all the issues that may arise during the development of <br /> the Comprehensive Sewer Plan. This task establishes a contingency fund for unidentified <br /> and unanticipated work. <br /> 2. This task is specifically designed to allow payment to HDR under this contract for changes in <br /> the scope of work which the City of Everett determines to be necessary. The funds included <br /> in this task cannot be utilized without written approval from the City. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. When identified, authorize additional services in via email and/or in writing. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1.
