The information collected during ET's outreach process provides insight into the City's transportation system, services, amenities and customer services. The outreach process began in 2008 and has been built on and expanded as new information is provided. The new 2010 Census Data will be utilized to identify changes in our community that may need specialized communications or assistance. Once outreach has completed, information gathered will be added into ET's Comprehensive Plan in the appropriate topic area. As various chapters are drafted they will become available for review at the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) and available at ET's main office and all customer service centers. Upon completion of a fully compiled draft comprehensive plan update, the public process will continue. Regular communications will continue with the TAC and the Stakeholder Group, a copy of the draft plan will be posted on the ET website, and outreach staff will conduct public meetings to discuss the draft plan. Comments will be solicited and accepted throughout the entire compilation process of the comprehensive plan update. This process will conclude with a public hearing before council and be presented to Council for adoption in September. RECOMMENDATION: 1
