• <br /> Section 10.205. The required width of a fire apparatus <br /> access road shall not be obstructed in any manner, <br /> including parking of vehicles. Minimum required widths <br /> and clearances established under this section shall be <br /> maintained at all times. <br /> Section 10.206. When required, approved signs or other <br /> approved notices shall be provided and maintained for <br /> fire apparatus access roads to identify such roads and <br /> prohibit the obstruction thereof or both. <br /> SECTION 6 : Section 78 . 103 (a) of the 1991 Edition of the UFC is <br /> hereby amended by deleting: <br /> 2 . Displays. Permits are required to conduct a <br /> fireworks display. See Section 4 . 108 . Permit <br /> applications shall be made not less than 14 days prior <br /> to the scheduled date of the display. The permit <br /> application shall include a diagram of the grounds on <br /> which the display is to be held showing the point at <br /> which the fireworks are to be discharged; the location <br /> of buildings, highways and other lines of <br /> communication; the lines behind which the audience will <br /> be restrained; and the location of nearby trees, <br /> telegraph or telephone lines and other overhead <br /> obstructions. At the time of permit application, the <br /> chief shall be consulted regarding requirements for <br /> standby fire apparatus. <br /> and inserting in its place: <br /> 2 . Except as hereinafter provided or as is otherwise <br /> provided by State law and City Ordinance, it shall be <br /> unlawful for any person to possess, store, to offer <br /> for sale, expose for sale, sell at retail or use or <br /> explode any fireworks, provided that the Chief shall <br /> have power to adopt reasonable rules and regulations <br /> for the granting of permits for supervised public <br /> displays of fireworks by a jurisdiction, fair <br /> association, amusement park, other organization or for <br /> the use of fireworks by artisans in pursuit of their <br /> trade. Every such use or display shall be handled by a <br /> competent operator approved by the Chief and shall be <br /> of such character and so located, discharged or fired <br /> so as, in the opinion of the Chief after proper <br /> investigation, not to be hazardous to property or <br /> endanger any person. <br /> 4 <br />
