Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted for the Public Works <br /> Director, under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete <br /> responsibility for accomplishing all the actions authorized in this Ordi- <br /> nance. <br /> Section 3. Appropriations from the "City-managed Boeing Mitigation <br /> Project Fund" , Fund No. 302 , shall only be made for transportation system <br /> improvements that fall within the City's jurisdictional purview. Appro- <br /> priations may include predesign, design, direct payments, and other costs <br /> necessary to accomplish preconstruction activities. <br /> Section 4. This appropriation shall not lapse but shall be carried <br /> forward from year to year until fully expended or the purposes have been <br /> accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of reappropriation as per <br /> RCW 35. 33 . 151 . <br /> Section 5. The city of Everett shall receive into this fund certain <br /> monies from other local municipalities, Snohomish County, Washington <br /> State Transportation Improvement Board, private property owners, <br /> Washington State Department of Transportation, various city funds, and <br /> other sources, and shall use these revenues for work pursuant to the pre- <br /> construction activities of city-managed Boeing traffic mitigation <br /> projects. <br /> Section 6. <br /> A. The sum of $5, 307 ,000 is hereby appropriated to the "City-managed <br /> Boeing Mitigation Project Fund" , Fund No. 302 , as follows: <br /> City-managed Projects, Program No. 517 $5, 307 ,000. <br /> The projects included under the "City-managed Boeing Mitigation <br /> Project Fund" , Fund No. 302 , include, but are not limited to, the <br /> following: <br /> 1 . Neighborhood Traffic Mitigation $ 507 ,000 <br /> 2 . 4th Avenue West 320 ,000 <br /> 3 . SR 526/I5 Interchange 1,600,000 <br /> 4 . SR 526/Evergreen Way Interchange 400,000 <br /> 5. Evergreen Way Widening 680,000 <br /> 6. SR 527 Widening 1 ,600 ,000 <br /> 7. Madison Street Corridor 200,000 <br /> Total Appropriation $5, 307 ,000 <br /> This project list depicts the intended allocations of the total <br /> appropriation for Fund No. 302 and is for illustrative purposes <br /> only. Both the project list and the allocations are subject to <br /> administrative revision by city staff in accordance with prospec- <br /> tuses approved by the SEPA Responsible Official for the Boeing plant <br /> expansion. <br /> B. Source of Funds: <br /> 1 . Boeing Mitigation Fund, Fund No. 158 $2 ,581,000 <br /> 2. Transportation Improvement Account (TIA) 817 ,000 <br /> 3 . Funds From Other Sources 1,909,000 <br /> Total $5, 307,000 <br />
