1 • 4 Ordinance No. 1849-92 An Ordinance of the City of Everett Amending Zoning Code Ordinance Nos. 1671-89, 1729-90, 1770-91 and 1793-91. WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted Zoning Ordinance No. 1671-89 which became effective on January 13 , 1990; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 1671-89 has been amended several times since its adoption; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended that an annual review of the Zoning Code occur to keep the ordinance up-to-date; and WHEREAS, the City received numerous suggestions for various amendments to the zoning code for the 1991 annual Zoning Code review; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted several public workshops and hearings on the proposed Zoning Code amendments and has recommended City Council approval of various proposed amendments; and WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing to consider the recommendations of the Planning Commission, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendments to the Zoning Code bear a substantial relation to the public welfare and are in the best long term interests of the Everett Community. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: Section 1 .050.D.4 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, which reads: M-M Business Park Zone. The purpose of the "business park" zone is to provide areas for development of high quality single or multiple tenant, campus style business parks which offer opportunities for a wide variety of non-retail business to locate in small to medium office and warehouse spaces. is hereby amended to read: M-M Business Park Zone.
