• <br /> existing mature vegetation would be harmed by installation <br /> of irrigation system for that portion of the required <br /> landscape area where the mature vegetation is located. <br /> 2. All landscaping shall be maintained with respect to pruning, <br /> trimming, mowing, watering, insect control, fertilizing, or <br /> other requirements to create a healthy growing condition, <br /> attractive appearance, and to maintain the purpose of the <br /> landscape type. <br /> 3 . Dead, diseased, stolen, vandalized or damaged plants shall <br /> be replaced within three months, with the plants indicated <br /> on the approved landscape plan. <br /> 4. All landscaped area shall be maintained reasonably free of <br /> weeds and trash. <br /> 5. All required landscaping which is located within public <br /> right-of-way shall be maintained by the abutting property <br /> owner. <br /> SECTION 37: Section 36. 170.A.2 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, which <br /> reads: <br /> 2. Freestanding Signs - <br /> a. One freestanding sign is permitted per lot for each <br /> three-hundred (300) feet of street frontage or fraction <br /> thereof. <br /> b. The maximum sign area shall be seventy-five (75) square <br /> feet, plus an additional twenty-five (25) square feet <br /> for each additional business on a lot having more than <br /> one business, up to a maximum area of one-hundred and <br /> fifty (150) square feet. <br /> c. The maximum height for a freestanding sign shall be <br /> five (5) feet plus two (2) feet for each one (1) foot <br /> the sign is setback from the property line which abuts <br /> the street right-of-way, up to a maximum height of <br /> twenty-five (25) feet. <br /> d. On lots where more than one freestanding sign is <br /> permitted, the sign area permitted for each sign may be <br /> combined if installed on one sign structure. <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> 2 .
