• <br /> a. ' Any area with a combination df: <br /> 1) Slopes greater than 15%; and <br /> 2) Impermeable soils (typically silt and clay) frequently <br /> interbedded with granular soils (predominantly sand and <br /> gravel) ; and <br /> 3) Springs, groundwater seepage. <br /> b. Any area located on a landslide feature described in <br /> Subsection a which has shown movement during the Holocene <br /> epoch (from 10,000 years ago to the present) or which is <br /> underlain by mass wastage debris of that epoch. <br /> c. Any area potentially unstable as a result of rapid stream <br /> incision, stream bank erosion or undercutting by wave <br /> action. <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> "Landslide Hazard Areas" means those areas of the City subject to <br /> a severe risk of landslide. They include the following areas: <br /> a. Any area with a combination of: <br /> 1) Slopes greater than 15%; and <br /> 2) Impermeable soils (typically silt and clay) frequently <br /> interbedded with granular soils (predominantly sand and <br /> gravel) ; and <br /> 3) Springs, groundwater seepage, or saturated soils. <br /> b. Any area located on a landslide feature described in <br /> Subsection a which has shown movement during the Holocene <br /> epoch (from 10,000 years ago to the present) or which is <br /> underlain by mass wastage debris of that epoch. <br /> c.
