10 <br /> EXHIBIT A-1 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> a. Perform field inspection and testing services associated with certified welding <br /> inspection. Up to $8,540 is budgeted for certified welding inspection. <br /> 8. Prepare Record Drawings. Incorporate the Construction Contractor's record information <br /> on CAD design files. Changes in materials, elevations, and location, from that shown on <br /> the plans will be shown based on the information provided by the Construction <br /> Contractor. Final electronic AUTOCAD files and a single full size paper set of record <br /> drawings will be provided.Up to 76 hours is budgeted. <br /> Task 3. Undefined Services <br /> As it is difficult to accurately determine the nature of all features required for this project (e.g., <br /> more than the anticipated number of submittals or RFC's, etc.), a contingency fund representing <br /> approximately 15 percent of the total budget for engineering support services during construction <br /> is included in this task. The funds included in this task cannot be utilized without prior written <br /> approval from the City of Everett. <br /> Additional Services <br /> The following services are not included in the basic services and will be considered extra work to <br /> be performed by Engineer, if authorized by the City of Everett in a contract amendment. <br /> 1. Provide full-time construction management services, as summarized below. <br /> a. Administration of the Construction Contractor's and Engineer's contracts. <br /> b. Coordinating and conducting the preconstruction conference, and distributing <br /> meeting minutes. <br /> c. Full time on-site field observation and monitoring. <br /> d. Completing project daily reports. <br /> e. Receive, check for completeness, and log all shop drawings,material samples, <br /> and other Construction Contractor submittals. Distribute submittals for Engineer <br /> review to Engineer. Process submittal review comments. Maintain a shop <br /> drawing submittal file/tracking system to assure timely responses and minimize <br /> potential delays. <br /> f. Receive, log and distribute RFC's to Engineer for review and response. Process <br /> reviewed RFC's. Maintain a RFC file/tracking system to assure timely responses <br /> and minimize potential delays. <br /> g. Coordinating and conducting weekly job site meetings and other special meetings, <br /> and distributing meeting minutes. <br /> h.
