• <br /> AMENDMENT NO.3 <br /> g TO PUBLIC DEFENSE SERVICES CONTRACT <br /> THIS AMENDMENT is dated as of September ,2011,by and between the CITY OF EVERETT, a <br /> Washington municipal corporation(the"Ci),") and BAKER, LEWIS, SCHWISOW&LAWS PLLC, a <br /> Washington professional limited liability company(the"Agency"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City and Agency are parties to the Public Defense Services Contract dated June 22,2009, <br /> as amended by Amendment No. 1 and Amendment No. 2 (the"Contract"). Under the Contract,the Agency <br /> provides indigent defense services in the Everett Municipal Court. <br /> B. The City and Agency desire to extend the Contract,so that it expires on December 31,2014. <br /> The City and Agency also desire to make other changes to the Contract. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> For good and valuable consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged,the <br /> parties agree as follows: <br /> 1.
