9 <br /> er elects to forego repair/replacement, Customer will return a prorated portion of the 10 year award funds to the <br /> PUD <br /> 2. Renewable Energy Credits ("RECs"): The Customer agrees that all of the RECs associated with the <br /> electricity that is generated from operation of any PV system constructed or installed under this Agree- <br /> ment shall be retired on behalf of the Snohomish County PUD Planet Power participants. Customer <br /> agrees that it will, if required or desirable to meet applicable regulatory or administrative rules, transfer <br /> any RECs to the PUD, and shall not resell, trade, assign, or transfer any RECs or an sortion thereof to <br /> any other party. One REC is equivalent to proof that 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) o electricit was gener- <br /> ated from an eligible renewable energy resource. <br /> 3. Insurance: Customer agrees to maintain property insurance on the PV system sufficient to cover full re- <br /> placement costs, at the Customer's sole expense, for so long as the Customer owns the PV system. Cus- <br /> tomer will notify the PUD immediately of any substantial modification or cancellation of such insur- <br /> ance. <br /> 4. Access: Customer shall ensure that system data monitoring for the PV System is maintained and pro- <br /> vided to the PUD for the duration of the Customer Obligation Period, and Customer agrees to grant the <br /> PUD access to PV System data at all times <br /> 5. Promotion: Customer grants permission to the PUD to collect and display information about any aspect <br /> of the project, including but not limited to photographs and data documenting the output and perfor- <br /> mance of the project; and to allow the Customer to be identified in educational and communications ma- <br /> terials, including, but not limited to web sites, presentations, publications, press releases and promotion- <br /> al materials. Customer will allow signage to be displayed on the Customer's property at a location that is <br /> within walking distance of the PV system and has reasonable visibility. <br /> 6. Educational Development: Customer agrees that part of the value of a renewable energy demonstration <br /> system comes in the form of demonstrating the power of distributed energy generation and educating the <br /> public on energy conservation and renewable energy. The Customer shall designate a Project Champion <br /> whose involvement will ensure the smooth identification and realization of educational programming. <br /> The Customer shall perform agreed upon educational deliverables (as proposed in their application) and <br /> submit Annual Progress Reports to the PUD by December 31 of each year during the Customer Obliga- <br /> tion Period. This report will include, at a minimum,the following information: <br /> 1. Details related to all Customer Deliverables (Section II 1-6) <br /> 2. General updates on other curricula, classroom activities, data monitoring, science kits, or <br /> events related to the PV system installation. <br /> 3.
