7 <br /> TASK 9 CIVIL/ROADWAY/TRAFFIC DESIGN <br /> This Task will be performed by TranTech's subconsultant Perteet to provide Civil/Roadway/ <br /> Traffic services. <br /> 1. PS&E PREPARATION <br /> Design team will prepare 60%, 90% and Bid Ready Final PS&E, specifications, and <br /> engineering cost estimates for the project based on the preliminary design. Current City <br /> of Everett design standards shall be used. <br /> a. Design Team Meetings <br /> The design team will have monthly design team meetings to resolve design issues <br /> between disciplines and to provide a project status that can be communicated with the <br /> CITY. It is assumed that there will be up to 14 joint staff meetings. Each meeting is <br /> assumed to be 2 hours in duration. <br /> b. Review Meetings <br /> The design team will prepare for and participate in formal review meetings with the <br /> CITY at the 60% and 90% submittal. stages. The design team will provide a <br /> consolidated set of written comments to the design team a minimum of two weeks <br /> prior to the review meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss comments <br /> that require further clarification or discussion and to provide written responses to <br /> comments that do not require further discussion. It is assumed that the meetings will <br /> be up to 4 hours each with up to 8 of team's staff. <br /> c. PS&E Submittals <br /> The design team will prepare 60%, 90%, Final plans and construction estimate for the <br /> Broadway Bridge Project. Special provisions will be provided at the 90% and Final <br /> submittal. <br /> d. Alignment and Right-of-Way Plans <br /> The design team will prepare one Horizontal Alignment sheets at 1"=20' scale which <br /> will include the control necessary to construct the project. These plans will also show <br /> the right of way and any construction easements. <br /> e. Site Preparation and Demolition Plans <br /> The design team will prepare Site Preparation and Demolition Plans at 1"=20' scale. <br /> These plans will show topography, existing utilities, existing surface features and <br /> items for demolition. This scope assumes ten Site Preparation and Demolition Plans <br /> for the entire project area. This task also includes the development of a spreadsheet <br /> inventory that identifies all significant elements that would be suitable for set aside by <br /> the CITY for re-use/salvage and/or historical interests. The design team will <br /> coordinate with the City at the time of the site visit inventory. <br /> 46 <br />
