The software is designed to document senior center use and track volunteer hours. The grant will purchase the software,equipment,and training needed to use the software. No matching funds are required. This amendment increases the senior center budget by$11,000. Council approved the agreement with Snohomish County at the City Council meeting of January 26, 2011. Department Code Rev Exp FB GGA-4 Fire Dept Amendment-Buffer Zone Protection Grant 032A 26;396` GGA-4 General Fund Amendment-Buffer Zone Protection Grant 002A 26,396 The Fire Department has been awarded a$26,396 Buffer Zone Protection Program grant money from the Washington State Military Department. These funds are allocated to increase the preparedness capabilities of jurisdictions responsible for the safety and security of communities surrounding high- priority critical infrastructure and key resource assets through planning and equipment acquisition. This amendment increases the Fire Department's equipment budget by$26,396. Council approved acceptance of this grant award at the April 6,2011 council meeting.
