2011 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> 2 Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-5 Fire Dept Amendment-UASI Grant for Training 032A 32,500 <br /> GGA-5 General Fund Amendment-UASI Grant for Training 002A 32,500 <br /> The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is providing funds to the state and specified urban areas of <br /> the city of Seattle,city of Bellevue, King County,Snohomish County and Pierce County to enhance their <br /> capability to prevent terrorist attacks through the Urban Area Security Initiative Program(UASI). <br /> The City of Seattle Police Department has agreed to reimburse government agencies in Snohomish <br /> County for employees who attend Structural Collapse Technician Training in 2011 for wages(overtime <br /> and backfill) incurred on an actual cost basis. This amendment increases the Fire department's overtime <br /> budget by$32,500. <br /> Increase Grant Revenue 002 3339700183 32,500 <br /> Increase Fire Overtime 032 5200000120 32,500 <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-6 Fire Dept Amendment-Heavy Rescue Apparatus Grar 032A 600,000 <br /> GGA-6 General Fund Amendment-Heavy Rescue Apparatus Grar 002A 600,000 <br /> Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management,acting as the pass-through agency for the <br /> U.S. Department of Homeland Security's FFY10 Urban Area Security Initiative Program grant,has <br /> agreed to reimburse the City of Everett for a heavy rescue apparatus up to the amount of$600,000. This <br /> vehicle will provide interoperability with other heavy rescue apparatus throughout the Puget Sound region <br /> and as part of the Snohomish County Technical Rescue Team. This vehicle will strengthen and enhance <br /> Homeland Security-directed response capabilities in a large scale event. There are no matching <br /> requirements for this contract.
