Exhibits for Scope of <br /> Work and Budget. <br /> Amount Budgeted $5,625,000 <br /> Expenditure Required $97,900 Account Number(s): UP 3251 <br /> Budget Remaining $4,905;100 <br /> Additional Required 0 <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> The current Professional Services Agreement with URS Corporation,including Amendments 1 and 2, covers <br /> designing and providing bidding assistance services through December 31, 2011 for the Water Transmission <br /> • <br /> Line 5 Replacement at the Pilchuck River. <br /> Addressing and incorporating permitting agency requirements, obtaining additional geotechnical data and <br /> providing an Aquatic Plat Survey,resulted in additional design services and permitting assistance. As a <br /> result,Amendment No. 3 covers additional costs, allows a time extension, and also includes engineering <br /> support services that were not included in the original Professional Services Agreement. <br /> The original Professional Services Agreement was for$340,000. Amendment 1 and Amendment 2 were for <br /> $185,000 and$97,000 respectively,bringing the total up to $622,000. Approving Amendment No. 3 <br /> increases the total to $719,900. <br /> Authorizing Amendment No. 3 will allow URS to finish the design and provide engineering support services <br /> through construction of this project. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with URS <br /> Corporation for design services for the Water Transmission Line 5 Replacement at the Pilchuck River for an <br /> additional $97,900. <br /> 53 <br />
