August 12, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />6:30 p.m., August 12, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br />E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll <br />call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br />Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council <br />Member Moore was excused. <br />Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the August 5, 2015, City Council meeting were approved <br />as printed. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Roberts commented on the recent water restriction and <br />requested additional information be provided in a future update. He <br />suggested the 2016 City budget include an amount to address climate <br />change. Mayor Stephanson suggested a future discussion occur <br />regarding budget recommendations. <br />Council Member Murphy provided a liaison report on his attendance <br />yesterday at the Snohomish Health District Board meeting. <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br />longer than 10 minutes, concerning a litigation matter pursuant to RCW <br />42.30.110(1)(i) with no announcement to follow. <br />239 <br />
