I. 1 <br /> business purposes allowed under the UW Electronic Information Privacy Policy on <br /> Personally Identifiable Information. The Institutions must maintain their own records if <br /> they wish to identify the card serial number issued to an individual. <br /> 16.3 The Parties understand and agree that certain records related to the Institutions' <br /> participation in the ORCA System are public records under the Washington Public <br /> Records Act (Chapter 42.56 RCW) ("Act"). Each agency shall be responsible for its own <br /> compliance with the Act, provided however, to the extent practicable, if a Party receives <br /> a request for disclosure of the records of another Party that are reasonably designated <br /> as confidential and are in its possession, it will provide notice to such other Party prior to <br /> disclosing such records in order to give the other Party adequate time to seek a court <br /> order preventing such disclosure. <br /> 17.0 INDIVIDUAL USE OF ORCA CARDS AFTER LEAVING THE INSTITUTIONS <br /> The Institutions may allow individuals to retain their ORCA Cards upon leaving the Institutions. <br /> The Institutions will move all cards of departing individuals to a specified Card Group, which will <br /> be off of the ORCA Whitelist. <br /> 18.0 OTHER ORCA PROGRAM ACTIVITIES <br /> 18.1 Survey Participation and Evaluations. The Institutions and their participants may be <br /> asked to perform other activities associated with the ORCA program, such as but not <br /> limited to, participant surveys and evaluations. The Institutions shall participate in such <br /> activities to the extent doing so does not entail more than de minimus costs and/or staff <br /> resources. If material costs or resource commitments are required, the Institutions' <br /> participation shall be contingent on an agreement with the Lead Agency regarding <br /> funding. If the Lead Agency determines such activities are desired, then it will send <br /> notice at least sixty (60) days prior to the anticipated commencement of such activities to <br /> the Institutions' Primary Contact Person as identified in Attachment 1. <br /> 18.2 Information and Distribution. The Lead Agency will supply and maintain information racks <br /> throughout the University's campus in Seattle, and will stock University brochures and <br /> Community Transit/Sound Transit schedules in addition to Metro Transit timetables. <br /> The Lead Agency will provide timetables and maintain information racks in the following <br /> locations, as long as materials are available: <br /> UW Seattle—four heavy use locations to be agreed upon with the University <br /> UW Bothell —one location <br /> Harborview Medical Center—one location <br /> Pierce Transit will provide timetables to the University's Tacoma campus in sufficient <br /> quantities to maintain its information center. <br /> 18.3 Emergency Ride Home/Home Free Guarantee. The Institutions and the Participating <br /> Agencies shall fulfill all conditions and responsibilities of the Emergency Ride Home <br /> program as implemented at the University of Washington Tacoma campus, in <br /> accordance with the terms set forth in Attachment 4, and of the Home Free Guarantee as <br /> implemented at Cascadia Community College, in accordance with the terms set forth in <br /> Attachment 5. <br /> 18.4 Visitor Trip Reduction. The University agrees to continue to consider development of <br /> programs designed to reduce drive alone trips for visitors to University campuses.
