This amendment extends the agreement through 2012 and changes the State agency assignment. <br /> This agreement allows the City to purchase from numerous contracts which have been competitively <br /> awarded by the State. Savings from the purchase of vehicles,fuel and other items far outweigh the $5,000 <br /> administrative fee collected by the State. <br /> RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement <br /> with the State of Washington. <br /> 31 <br />
