Describe the consulting firm's and the Project Manager's most recent experience <br /> with estimating and forecasting construction costs on similar intersection <br /> channelization projects. Please include a comparison of the project engineer's <br /> cost estimate and the actual bid award and construction cost, including an <br /> explanation of differences. Please include both agency's and contractor's names <br /> and phone numbers. Include the design and project management cost for each <br /> listed project as a percentage of construction cost. (10 points) <br /> 5. Explain how the Project Manager will maintain communication between the City <br /> contact(s), other project team members, including subconsultants and various <br /> stakeholders. Describe what techniques or tools the Project Manager will use to <br /> ensure that all project team members are completing their tasks as assigned, on <br /> schedule, and within budget. Describe how the Project Manager will report this <br /> information to the City's Project Manager. In addition, describe the Project <br /> Manager's experience with techniques and/or software proposed. (10 points) <br /> 6. Considerations for non-motorized transportation access, such as pedestrians, <br /> bicyclists and ADA, should be a substantial element of intersection design. <br /> Describe your team's approach in integrating these elements and considerations <br /> into your design process. Furthermore, describe how your team would ensure <br /> the design proposal would coincide with City's long-term vision for the area. (10 <br /> points) <br /> 7. Identify your team's strategies in balancing the need to enhance freight mobility, <br /> while reducing conflicts between motorized and non-motorized transportation <br /> modes. (10 points) <br /> 8. The re-channelization of the intersections will cause substantial disruptions to the <br /> existing traffic patterns and flow in the Everett CBD vicinity during construction. <br /> Describe your approach to traffic control during construction for this project. (10 <br /> Points) <br /> 9. Provide recent letters of recommendation from previous clients for similar <br /> projects. (10 points) <br /> The statements of qualifications shall be limited to twenty (20), single-sided, 8 1/2"x 11"pages. <br /> Six (6) additional sheets will be allowed for letters of recommendation from previous clients.
