Polo <br /> Subconsultant Scope of Work <br /> Survey: <br /> Perform a topographic survey of the project area and prepare a basemap to City of Everett standards. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Survey basemap <br /> • Survey data binders <br /> Utility Potholing: <br /> Perform utility potholing to determine the size, material, and depth of existing utilities at locations to be <br /> determined by GHD and approved by the City. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Table documenting results of utility potholing results <br /> Geotechnical: <br /> Review geologic maps for the project vicinity and perform a reconnaissance of the alignment. Complete a <br /> subsurface exploration of the alignment consisting of two portable borings in the ravine and eight truck <br /> borings along Shore Avenue and at Edgewater Park. Five borings will include the installation of piezometers <br /> to monitor groundwater conditions. Complete laboratory testing on soil samples obtained from the <br /> subsurface explorations, including moisture content determinations and grain size analyses. Complete <br /> geotechnical analyses of the soil and groundwater conditions relative to design and construction <br /> considerations. Prepare a geotechnical report summarizing the findings of the geotechnical investigation. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Geotechnical report <br /> • <br /> Environmental: <br /> Complete a wetland and stream delineation of the project alignment. Perform a permitting assessment of <br /> alternative design approaches developed during the preliminary design phase, including meetings with <br /> representatives of the City of Everett planning department,Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and <br /> Army Corps of Engineers. Assist with developing cost estimates for permitting and mitigation of design <br /> alternatives.
