ATTACHMENT 1 Shore Avenue Stormwater Outfall Improvements Contract Amendment#4 Scope of Work . December 8,2011 GHD will perform the following tasks related to completion of the Edgewater Creek Outfall Feasibility Analysis and preliminary and final design of the preferred alternative. Phase 1—Feasibility Analysis Edgewater Creek Outfall Feasibility Analysis Completion: Complete analysis of Sub-alternatives R4 and SA2(surface pipe through Edgewater Ravine and shallower Shore Ave storm drain). Complete additional analyses for Alt. A2 second phase (new conveyance pipe for Sound Ave sub-basin). Complete Alt.A3 (Powder Mill Gulch Outfall). Update the October 2011 Edgewater Creek Outfall Feasibility Analysis to document the findings of the above-described additional tasks. Modifications to the report would include updates to the text,figures,cost estimates, and alternatives evaluation spreadsheet to document the additional alternative analyses. Deliverable: Final Edgewater Creek Outfall Feasibility Analysis Report Feasibility Coordination Meetings: Attend meetings with City of Everett and BNSF Railway as requested to support selection of a preferred alternative. Phase 2—Preliminary Engineerinq The following tasks will be performed when directed by the City of Everett,following completion of Phase 1. Perform topographic survey, sub-surface utility investigation, geotechnical investigations,wetland/stream delineation, and permitting assessment(see Subconsultant scope of work). Perform alternatives analysis for final alignment selection. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic sizing calculations. Prepare 30%plans and cost estimate. Perform preliminary coordination with BNSF, environmental permitting agencies, and affected utility purveyors. Prepare a draft design report. Deliverables: • Wetland delineation report • Topographic survey • Geotechnical report • Permitting technical memo • Draft design report • 30% plans • 30%cost estimate 63
