' f <br /> Section 2 : Authorization is hereby granted to provide for <br /> the development of contract plans, specifications and detailed <br /> cost estimates and construction required to provide the <br /> following: <br /> A. Northeast Everett Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1. Allocate $15, 000 for establishment of a viewpoint <br /> park in 800 Block of East Marine View Drive; and <br /> allocate $15, 000 for the playground equipment and <br /> benches for Riverdale Park. <br /> B. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1. Allocate $15, 000 to construct sidewalk on the west <br /> side and an extruded curb on the east side of 3300 <br /> Block of Norton Avenue. <br /> C. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements <br /> 1. Allocate $30, 000 for street and sidewalk improvement <br /> project. <br /> a. Highland Avenue - 21st to 22th $30, 000 <br /> Replace curb, gutter and sidewalks on the west <br /> side and street overlay on those two blocks of <br /> Highland. (This project is eligible for street <br /> overlay funds. ) <br /> D. Lowell Neighborhood Improvement <br /> 1. Allocate $15, 000 for park benches placed at various <br /> locations around Lowell neighborhood, implementation <br /> of a fitness course at Lowell Community Park, and a <br /> Neighborhood cleanup program. <br /> Section 3 : Should costs be less for the above projects <br /> than originally estimated, projects receiving the next highest <br /> neighborhood priority shall be included for funding. If <br /> project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority <br /> project or projects will be dropped for funding. <br /> Section 4 : If any of the above projects is started but not <br /> completed, completion of the project(s) will be automatically <br /> funded with any 1991 Block Grant funds received by the <br /> neighborhood where an uncompleted project is located. <br /> Section 5: All of the above projects shall conform to the <br /> requirements of the City Ordinance 555-78, as amended by City <br /> Ordinances 665-80 and 793-81. Determination of the <br /> appropriate standards to impose shall be made by the City <br /> Engineer. <br />
