Simmunition Conversion Bolts and Cartridges 4 <br /> The fourth project proposed for JAG funding is to purchase eight M-4 Simmunition Conversion <br /> Bolts, one case of 9mm pistol cartridges and two cases of 5.56mm rifle cartridges. The addition <br /> of the conversion bolts for the rifles and the cartridges will allow our SWAT Team to conduct a <br /> variety of scenario based trainings. The estimated cost of this equipment is$4,745.00 <br /> Digital& Video Forensics Software <br /> The fifth project proposed for JAG funding is to purchase multiple portable hard drives, cell <br /> phone and video programs to be used in the collection of critical evidence. The estimated cost <br /> of this equipment is $4,000.00. <br /> Millennium Riot Control Gas Mask Filters <br /> The sixth project element consists of purchase and acquisition often cases of MSA Millennium <br /> gas mask filters for riot control use with our Special Operations Group, consisting of 105 <br /> commissioned officers. The department is in need of an emergency supply of these. The <br /> estimated cost of this equipment is $3,100.00. <br /> Ballistic Shield <br /> The seventh project proposed for JAG funding is to purchase one ballistic shield with light and <br /> cover for use by our Anti-Crime Team officers to utilize in high risk situations. The shield will <br /> provide additional protection for the upper torso and extremities of the officers carrying the <br /> shield as well as those who may be "stacked" behind. The estimated cost of this equipment is <br /> $2,650.00. <br /> IP Network Camera and Raven XE Modem <br /> The eighth project proposed for JAG funding would provide money to purchase one IP Network <br /> Camera and one Wireless Raven XE Modem our Special Investigations Unit. The network <br /> camera and modem are tools used to capture and transmit motion images and streaming video <br /> to investigators for immediate viewing. These items critical resources when it comes to <br /> documenting and presenting important evidence related to a criminal investigation. The <br /> estimated cost of this equipment is $2,600.00. <br /> Vista Software Upgrade <br /> Project nine, being proposed for JAG funding, is the purchased of an upgrade of Vista Edge FX <br /> software for the creation of crime scene diagrams. This software will be used by our Traffic <br /> Investigation Unit as well as our multi-jurisdictional SMART Team for investigations of major <br /> crimes. The estimated cost for this device is $2,600.00. <br /> Pole Camera <br /> The tenth project proposed for JAG funding consists of the purchase of a TacView Pole Camera. <br /> The pole camera will help to lower the risk of injury to Ant-Crime Team members while <br /> 25 <br />
