In 2007,the Council <br /> authorized the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Agreement between the City and the State of Washington <br /> Department of Corrections (DOC) regarding participation in RIG-1 and potential placement of a Community <br /> Corrections Officer at the RIG facility. The term of the 2007 Interlocal was 24 months. Amendment No. 1 <br /> to the 2007 Interlocal was executed on June 1,2009, extending the term to May 31, 2011. Amendment No.2 <br /> to the 2007 Interlocal was executed on June 1,2011,extending the term to May 31,2012. This Amendment <br /> No. 3 to the 2007 Interlocal would extend the term of the 2007 Interlocal to May 31,2013. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to Interlocal Agreement with the State of Washington <br /> Department of Corrections regarding participation in RIG-1 and potential placement of a Community <br /> Corrections Officer at the RIG facility. <br /> 99 <br />
