The Marine Exchange acts as the Puget Sound Fiduciary Agent for the PSGP and has <br /> received approval by the Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)to allocate funds to the Everett <br /> Police Department,the sub-grantee,for a Response Vessel Project. The Response Vessel Project is a <br /> combined effort of both EPD and the Everett Fire Department. The Response Vessel consists of one(1) <br /> vessel,requested electronics, accessories, engines,fire suppression and trailer. The project completion <br /> deadline is currently scheduled for September 30,2012;however,an extension is expected for June 30, <br /> 2014. Page 17 of the MOA denotes that the approved total cost for the Response Vessel Project is <br /> $429,304.00, and the original required match has been waived. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Port Security Grant Program FY 09 Memorandum of Agreement with <br /> Marine Exchange of Puget Sound. <br /> 109 <br />
