These will be <br /> announced at the May 30th Council meeting which begins at 6:30 <br /> p.m., and interviews before the entire Council in a public meeting <br /> will be set up for each nominee (up to 6). We will then discuss <br /> the qualifications of the candidates in executive session, if <br /> needed, and vote in open session at the meeting on June 6 to fill <br /> the position. If more time is needed, we can also set a special <br /> meeting for the final vote, as long as it occurs on or before June <br /> 11. <br /> As a reminder, the process is governed by the Open Public <br /> Meetings Act, so Council members should not engage in serial or <br /> group discussions on this issue outside of a public meeting. <br /> Please contact the City Attorney's Office if you have questions. <br />
