Everett Public Works Department 3200 Cedar Street Everett,WA 98201 Subject: Proposed Scope of Work and Cost to Provide Continuing Smith Island/Union Slough Mitigation Site Monitoring Assistance through February 2013 Dear Heather: Per your request,we could complete the following tasks to assist EPWD with continued monitoring of water surface elevation declines,modifications to the mitigation plan performance standards in light of adaptive management improvements,related meetings and project coordination and preparation of additional mitigation site related documents through contract expiration on March 1, 2013. Under this amendment,we would perform the following tasks: • Post process the HOBO gage data collected by Mike Pappa in July,August,and November 2012 and in February 2013 and prepare a cumulative data analysis and summary memo in November 2012 and in February 2013 • Meet with EPWD to discuss modification of the mitigation plan performance standards and elements in light of the site's development and recent adaptive management activities to improve site drainage. We would prepare a summary proposal for modifications and then meet with EPWD,the Corps,and Ecology to discuss the modifications. This task would conclude with a memo summarizing the modifications for Corps and Ecology approval. • Provide 8 months of project coordination,project management,budget tracking and invoicing, and client coordination. • Prepare one detailed water surface elevation analysis report,or a mitigation credit use summary document,or other reports as requested within the level of effort indicated on the attached cost estimate.
