8 <br /> City Council Staff Report <br /> Comprehensive Plan map amendment and rezone of the Warriner <br /> property, located on Evergreen Way, north of the Claremont Shopping <br /> Center. <br /> A. Introduction: <br /> The property is located north of the Claremont shopping center at 4629 Evergreen Way. The subject <br /> 2,500 square foot property has historically been the site of a single family home,but over time the <br /> property has been reduced in size by successive widening of Evergreen Way over many years. <br /> The proposed action is to amend the Comprehensive Plan designation from 1.2 (Single Family)to 4.4 <br /> (Mixed Use Commercial), and to change the zone from R-1 (Single Family)to E-1 (Evergreen Way <br /> zone). <br /> B. Background: <br /> 1. The subject property is in the Glacier View neighborhood. Staff discussed the proposal with the <br /> Neighborhood on January 10th of this year. <br /> 2. A small adjacent property(fragment)to the north has been included in this action.
