August 19, 2015 <br />Council Member Tuohy reported on her participation at the Summer <br />Reading Program Awards Ceremony. <br />Council Member Bader announced the appointments to the City Council <br />subcommittees as follow: <br />• Budget and Finance Subcommittee: Council Members Moore, <br />Murphy, and Stonecipher. Council Member Murphy will serve as a <br />Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. <br />• Public Safety Subcommittee: Council Members Moore, <br />Stonecipher, and Tuohy. Council Member Tuohy will serve as a <br />Chair of the Public Safety Committee. <br />• General Government Subcommittee: Council Members Bader, <br />Roberts, and Gipson. Council Member Roberts will serve as a <br />Chair of the General Government Committee. <br />Council Member Bader mentioned that full briefing can be provided to the <br />Council as a whole if Council desires. <br />Mayor Stephanson suggested Assistant City Attorney Ramerman be <br />present during further discussion on the subject of council procedures. <br />Council Member Moore suggested consideration of a lighter design <br />version of the City Council Rules of Procedure for the conduct of Council. <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />The City Attorney Iles stated that the executive session that had <br />previously been scheduled was postponed to a subsequent meeting. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Jackie Minchew, Everett, commented on the Red Barn Community Farm <br />and Everett Food Bank Farm and addressed global warming. <br />247 <br />
