At the time of the site visit the <br /> distance between the existing timber waler and the new sheet piles was approximately 3.2 inches as <br /> measured by the Contractor.There were also large cracks in the soil behind the bulkhead as shown in <br /> Figure 8. <br /> 1,,, 8 <br />
