• 4 Page 1of DD 'Everett Police Department • FOLLOW-UP REPORT XI ORIGINAL NARRATIVE INCIDENT CASE NUMBER VUCSA DD12-3202 REPORT DATE: 2/18/12 ❑A ❑C ❑A ❑C ❑A ❑C ❑A ❑C ❑A ❑C ❑A ❑C INCIDENT RECLASSIFIED TO: DATE OF RECLASSIFICATION RELATED CASE NUMBER(S)IW.S.P.CONTROL NO On 2/18/12 at about 1519hrs, I responded to room 112 of the Best Inn located at 1122 Broadway AVE in the City of Everett for a narcotics complaint. The reporting party gave her name as and dispatch details indicated that-was seeing short stay traffic and exchanges occurring there. I am very familiar with the Best Inn and know it to be highly associated with the use and sales of illegal narcotics. I have made many drug related arrest at this location and know that other officers have made similar arrest here. I have responded to this location for narcotics complaints, assaults, robberies, stolen vehicle recoveries, thefts and many other types of complaints. While en-route I attempted to call given that she did not leave an address. The phone number she provided went only to a phone tree for the Waits Motel. I know room 112 to be on the north west side of the Best Inn. Officer Pountain and I arrived on scene and parked our patrol cars on the south side of the building. We then walked through a rear alley access behind the building to attempt to keep room 112 under surveillance before we made contact. I observed that outside of room 112 there was a vehicle (' parked with two people inside, and that there was another female leaning on the drivers side door. Officer Pountain and I then walked over to the group and made a social contact. I first contacted the female who was standing outside of the car. I introduced myself and informed them that I had received narcotics complaint coming from one of the rooms here. I asked the female which room she was staying in and she stated room 112. I asked her to identify herself and "I'got warrants" and then verbally identified herself as A check through dispatch showed to have two outstanding warrants for her arrest. Dispatch confirmed warrants and she was arrested without incident. I advised of her constitutional rights from my department issued Miranda card. She stated that she understood her rights and would speak with me.
