Some of the additional costs are also attributable to design modifications in response to the sewer pipe failure on Silver Way. Construction bids for the Lift Station No. 24 Replacement project were opened on June 6 and McClure& Sons was awarded the project. Construction is beginning this month and will continue through approximately September 2013. Amendment No. 5 increases the amount of the professional services agreement from$1,040,900 to $1,419,341. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 5 to the Professional Services Agreement with Murray, Smith &.Associates,Inc. for Sewer Lift Station No. 24 Replacement Project for a total amount of$378,441. 121
