16 <br /> WHEREAS, the Current Interlocal Agreement provides that the City of Everett <br /> will contribute$25,746.00 to the Task Force; <br /> WHEREAS, because the Old Interlocal Service Agreement has expired, it is <br /> necessary to enter into this agreement, for the purpose of clarifying what financial <br /> contributions, if any, the City of Everett will make to the Task Force in addition to the <br /> $25,746.00 required under the Current Interlocal Agreement; <br /> WHEREAS, the Current Interlocal Agreement authorizes Snohomish County to <br /> execute on behalf of the Participating Jurisdictions all agreements and contracts <br /> recommended for approval by the Task Executive Board, by and through its chairman, <br /> for the purpose of administrating assets and resources available to the Task Force; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Task Force Commander and Task Force Executive Board have <br /> determined that execution of this agreement is the best interests of the Task Force and its <br /> Participating Jurisdictions, and have recommended that it be approved by Snohomish <br /> County on behalf of the Participating Jurisdictions; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Participating Jurisdictions and the City of Everett <br /> hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. City of Everett Contribution. In addition to the $25,746.00 that the City <br /> of Everett will contribute pursuant to the Current Interlocal Agreement, the City of <br /> Everett agrees that the Task Force may retain, as a further contribution from the City of <br /> Everett, up to $175,000 of the net monetary proceeds to which the City of Everett is <br /> entitled under Section 5.3 of the Current Interlocal Agreement from July 1, 2012 to June <br /> 30, 2013. If such net monetary proceeds are less than $175,000, the Task Force is <br /> limited to the lesser amount and in no event will the City of Everett make up the <br /> difference between the lesser amount and $175,000. On the other hand, if such net <br /> monetary proceeds exceed$175,000,the excess will be distributed to the City of Everett. <br /> 2. Duration. This agreement is effective from July 1, 2012 until June 30, <br /> 2013. <br /> 3. Acknowledgments of Funding. <br /> A. The Task Force acknowledges receipt of$175,000 from the City <br /> of Everett in payment of Snohomish County Sheriff's invoice I000283866 dated <br /> September 30, 2011. This payment was in connection with the Old Interlocal Service <br /> Agreement. The City of Everett has satisfied all of its obligations under the Old <br /> Interlocal Service Agreement and has no further obligations to make any additional <br /> payments or contributions to the Task Force in connection with the Old Interlocal <br /> Service Agreement. • <br /> B.
