DESCRIPTION/JUSTIFICATION OF AMENDMENT, MODIFICATION, OR CHANGE ORDER: <br /> The U.S.Department of Homeland Security(DHS),Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)is providing <br /> funds to state and local units of government through the FFY10 Buffer Zone Protection Program(BZPP),the U.S. <br /> Department of Homeland Security(DHS) provides funds to increase the preparedness capabilities of jurisdictions <br /> responsible for the safety and security of communities surrounding high-priority Critical Infrastructure and Key <br /> resource(CI/KR)assets through planning and equipment acquisition. <br /> The contractor, Everett Police Department,has requested an extension to the contract end date from August 31, <br /> 2012 to May 31, 2013.This additional time will allow accrual of contract equipment and subsequent installation. <br /> Delays beyond the control of the Everett Police Department are major factors in the request. This extension is <br /> allowable under grant provisions and has been approved by the program manager. <br /> 11. AMENDMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Change the contract end date from August 31, 2012 to May 31, 2013 <br /> 2. The overall contract amount of$119,500 remains unchanged. <br /> 3. Replace the Milestones (Amendment A)with the attached revised Milestones. <br /> This Amendment is incorporated in and made a part of the contract. Except as amended herein, all other terms and <br /> conditions of the contract remain in full force and effect. Any reference in the original contract or an Amendment to the <br /> "contract"shall mean "contract as amended". The Department and Contractor acknowledge and accept the terms of this <br /> Amendment as identified above, effective on the final date of execution below.
