1 <br /> The city shall provide classified nonrepresented employees all items of nonsalary <br /> compensation granted to appointive officers as specified in Sections 2.74.010 <br /> through 2.74.050 of this chapter. <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows <br /> The Ceity will offershall provide classified nonrepresented employees all <br /> items of non salary compensation offered togranted to appointive officers <br /> as specified in Sections 2.74.010 through 2.74.050 of this chapter on terms <br /> and conditions determined by the City, which may include classified non- <br /> represented employees' financial contributions. <br /> • <br /> Section 3. Ordinance No. 1594-89 § 3.A., as amended by Ordinance No. 2560-01 § 3 <br /> and 4 (Chapter 2.74.080 EMC)which reads as follows: <br /> A. Members of the City Council of the City of Everett who request coverage <br /> under the City's benefit insurance plans shall be granted such coverage to <br /> be comprised of the following: <br /> 1. Basic and major medical coverage for the Councilmember and his/her <br /> eligible dependents. <br /> 2. A dental plan for the Councilmember and his/her eligible dependents. <br /> 3. A vision care plan for the Councilmember and his/her eligible dependents. <br /> 4. The face amount of life insurance and the principal sum of accidental <br /> death and dismemberment insurance for a Councilmember shall be equal <br /> to two times the Councilmember's basic annual earnings,rounded to the <br /> next higher multiple of$1,000, if not already a multiple of$1,000,plus <br /> $2,000. The maximum face amount and maximum principal sum shall <br /> each be $150,000. <br /> 5. Long term disability insurance shall be 66 2/3% of the first$3,000 of the <br /> Councilmember's pre-disability monthly earnings subject to policy <br /> conditions and limitations. <br /> 6. Repealed by Ordinance No. 2560-01. <br /> 7. Optional dependent life insurance covered at the Councilmember's <br /> expense. <br /> PAGE 3 OF 5 <br /> 4 <br />
