6 <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT AND SOUTH FOREST PARK <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION <br /> THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT AND SOUTH FOREST PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION (the <br /> "Amendment") is made and entered into on this day of , 2012,by and <br /> between the City of Everett(the"City") and the South Forest Park Neighborhood Association <br /> (the"Association"). <br /> WHEREAS,the City and Association entered into that certain Grant Agreement, <br /> effective October 6,2011,providing funds to the Association for use as specified on the <br /> Association's community garden project(the"Agreement"); and <br /> WHEREAS,the Association has made substantial progress toward project completion <br /> but has requested a time extension through December 10,2012,to utilize the grant funds; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City is agreeable to a time extension; <br /> NOW THEREFORE,the parties herein do mutually agree as follows: <br /> 1. Section 1 of the Agreement is hereby deleted and replaced with the following: <br /> 1. PROJECT. <br /> The Association will perform the Project described in Exhibit A("Project"). <br /> The Project will be performed by the Association between September 5, 2011,the <br /> beginning date, and December 10,2012,the completion date("Project Period"). <br /> 2. All terms, conditions, and provisions of the Agreement, including Exhibit A thereto, <br /> remain in full force and effect except as expressly modified by this Amendment. <br /> 3.
