The goal is to reduce the number of people killed <br /> or seriously injured by impaired drivers in Snohomish County by deploying DUI patrols at times and <br /> locations where data indicates that the most safety benefit can be realized. This Memorandum of <br /> Understanding sets forth the requirements for the Everett Police Department to participate in the project and <br /> receive the allotted funding. The allocation for the term of this agreement, October 1,2012 through <br /> September 30, 2013, is$12,000.00. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2012-2013 Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington Traffic <br /> Safety Commission regarding participation in the Target Zero Teams project. <br />
