'=` Preconstruction Services Contract <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> % � Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> Phase Cl (Liquid Stream),Phase C2(Solids Handling) <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES CONTRACT <br /> WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY <br /> PHASE Cl (LIQUID STREAM), PHASE C2 (SOLIDS HANDLING) <br /> GENERAL CONTRACTOR/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (GC/CM) <br /> THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into by and between the City of Everett (Owner) <br /> with a place of business at 3200 Cedar Street, Everett, Washington 98201, and IMCO <br /> General Construction, Inc., (GC/CM), a Washington corporation with a place of <br /> business at 2116 Buchanan Loop, Ferndale, WA 98248. This Contract shall be <br /> effective on the last signature date set forth below, and shall be the agreed basis for the <br /> performance of and compensation for Preconstruction Services for the Water Pollution <br /> Control Facility Expansion — Phase Cl (Liquid Stream) and Phase C2 (Solids Handling) <br /> ("Project"). <br /> TVff <br /> A. Owner intends to design and construct the above named Project utilizing the <br /> services of a General Contractor/Construction Manager ("GC/CM"). <br /> B. GC/CM has submitted the highest scoring proposal to provide GC/CM <br /> services, part of which includes preconstruction services. <br /> C. Owner and GC/CM agree as follows: <br /> D. The following terms have the following defined meanings: <br /> a. "Drawings"" means graphic depictions of the scope, extent, and character <br /> of the Project work prepared by the Engineer. <br /> b. "Engineer" means Carollo Engineers <br /> c. "Preconstruction Services" means those services described in Attachment <br /> B hereto. <br /> d. "Preconstruction Work Plan" means the breakdown of Preconstruction <br /> Services as set forth in Attachment A hereto. <br /> e. "Request for Proposals" means City of Everett Request for Proposals No. <br /> 2012-022 dated April 16, 2012. <br /> f.
