3 <br /> Preconstruction Services Contract <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> ', ;,;/ Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> Phase Cl (Liquid Stream),Phase C2(Solids Handling) <br /> termination and will not be entitled to any other compensation, damages, <br /> loss of profits or payment of any other kind. <br /> 7. Prevailing Wages: To the extent that any of the work of this Contract is <br /> subject to the payment of prevailing wages, the GC/CM shall comply with all <br /> applicable provisions of Chapter 39.12 of the Revised Code of Washington <br /> concerning prevailing wages, shall provide the Owner with all documents <br /> required therein, and shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of wage to • <br /> such laborers,workers, or mechanics in each trade or occupation required for <br /> the work whether performed by the GC/CM, subcontractor, or other person <br /> doing or contracting to do the whole or any part of the work subject to <br /> prevailing wages and contemplated by this Contract. The execution date of <br /> this Contract shall be-the effective date for any prevailing wages required to <br /> be paid under this Contract. In any case, the GC/CM shall not pay any <br /> person described herein less than the hourly minimum rate of wage. <br /> The State of Washington prevailing wage rates applicable for this public <br /> works project, which is located in Snohomish County, may be found at the <br /> following website address of the Department of Labor and Industries: <br /> https://fortress.wa.gov/lni/wagelookup/prvWagelookup.aspx. The applicable <br /> effective date for prevailing wages for this project will be the date bids are due <br /> for each subcontract bid package. A copy of the current prevailing wage <br /> rates dated March 2, 2012 are available for viewing at the office of the Owner, <br /> located at 3200 Cedar Street, Everett WA., 98201. <br /> 8. Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages: Prior to the Owner paying the <br /> GC/CM for any work under this Contract, whether such work is subject to. <br /> prevailing wages or not, the GC/CM shall provide the Owner with an <br /> approved Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing. Wages for itself, and a <br /> Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages for any subcontractor of any tier <br /> that performed work subject to prevailing wages during the period for which <br /> payment is sought. All documents shall be approved by the Department of <br /> Labor and Industries. <br /> 9. Retainage: The Owner will not withhold retainage on the Work of these <br /> Preconstruction Services.
