1 <br /> • <br /> 4', K <br /> RESOLUTION NO. gifF <br /> A Resolution Placing the <br /> Howard S.Wright House <br /> 2112 Rucker Avenue <br /> on the <br /> Everett Register of Historic Places <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett adopted Ordinance 1355-87 (amended 1956-93) <br /> authorizing the Everett Historical Commission to consider the merits of properties for <br /> placement on the Everett Register of Historic Places and to recommend to the Everett <br /> City Council that properties be placed on the Everett Register; and <br /> WHEREAS,Bill Belshaw,the owner of the Howard S. Wright House at 2112 Rucker <br /> Avenue,requested the Everett Historical Commission to consider the house for inclusion <br /> on the Everett Register of Historic Places; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett Historical Commission reviewed the request at a public hearing <br /> on September 25, 2012, and determined that the Howard S. Wright House,built in 1905, <br /> is at least 50 years old,has historical integrity, and meets the following criteria for • <br /> inclusion on the Everett Register: <br /> • Embodies distinctive architectural characteristics of a type,period and style of <br /> construction; and <br /> • Is associated with the lives of persons significant to local history; •. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council concurs with the recommendation of the Everett <br /> Historical Commission to place the Howard S. Wright House on the Everett <br /> Register of Historic Places. <br /> 2. The Everett City Council places the Howard S.
