The original contract amount of$20,000 will be insufficient for <br /> future on-call consulting services through the end of 2013. Additionally, on-call services are now required <br /> for analysis of a new landslide area on the east side of Olympic Boulevard in Howarth Park. The cost for this <br /> analysis is approximately$8,800. <br /> The proposed increase in the contract amount to $45,000 accounts for the scope of work required at Howarth <br /> Park and future on-call geotechnical consulting services that maybe needed through 2013. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to Agreement with GeoEngineers,Inc.to provide <br /> geotechnical consultation services for the Parks and Recreation Department in the amount not to exceed <br /> $45,000. <br /> 169 <br />
