This amendment extends the agreement for a cost of$2500 through June 30,2013, at which time <br /> the State will complete a review of the program and present members with changes in fees and procedures. <br /> This agreement allows the City to purchase from numerous contracts which have been competitively <br /> awarded by the State. Savings from the purchase of vehicles,fuel and other items far outweigh the $5,000 <br /> administrative fee collected by the State. <br /> RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment Number 2 to Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing <br /> Agreement with the State of Washington in the amount of$2500. <br /> 173 <br />
