Would like to
extend our support of the Planning Commission's recommendation to keep a working waterfront.
We have had a great partnership with the Port of Everett and the ILWU for many years. JSC
believes we are part of the Everett community and proud of our efforts to provide employment
on the waterfront.
We need additional waterfront land to establish Deep Water Ports and provide more
infrastructure/jobs in the Everett Community.
Jones Stevedoring believes there is a limited availability of Deep Water Ports/Uplands on the
West Coast and by keeping a working waterfront - more man-hours and payroll could be
established.
Should you have an questions please revert to my email.
Thank you for your time,
Doug Beeber - Senior Vice President
Jones Stevedoring Company
Doug Beeber
Senior Vice President
Jones Stevedoring Co.
1
