The
development schedule relied on demand forecasts developed in 1996 and 2000.
The SRRWA believes the demand forecasts generated in 1996 and 2000 are no longer
applicable due to changing economic, demands, regional supply, and demographic
circumstances. The SRRWA'believes an extension of the forecasts out at least 20-30 years is
warranted and desires to formally extend the construction schedule to 2051.
This task will document the demand forecasts developed in 1996 and 2000 and compare the old
forecasts to the portion of the demand forecast developed in Task 4 representing the SWWRA
area to help understand, and presumably support, the SWWRA's view that a 30-year extension
to the construction schedule is warranted.
Addendum to the 2007 Comprehensive Water Plan January 9,2013
Exhibit A—Scope of Services Page 10
29
