Special equipment provided will enhance the <br /> coordination of maritime security efforts among law enforcement and emergency responder vessels <br /> operating in the Puget Sound region. Appendix A-1 and the referenced Memorandum of Agreement outline <br /> the responsibilities of the involved agencies. There is no cost associated with the acquisition of this <br /> equipment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Appendix A-1 to the Memorandum of Agreement with the United States Coast <br /> Guard and the Seattle Police Department for Automatic Identification System software, at no cost to the <br /> City. <br /> 31 <br />
