Please describe the item and its function: The IVR 300 is a 5-screen 300 degree immersive firearms <br /> training simulator. This scenario based training offers realistic inter-active videos to include patrol stops, <br /> domestic disturbance response,vehicle stops,hostage situations as well as scenarios on dealing with <br /> disturbed individuals. The simulator includes high definition hit-detection cameras,multiple target/ <br /> threat training with a"wireless"shoot back capability (electrical stimulation belt)controlled by the <br /> operator. The IVR 300 system includes capabilities for multliple non-tethered weapons to include Taser <br /> simulators,OC-(Capstun)simulators,firearms kits,rifle kits and baton simulators). <br /> 2. This is a sole source*because: <br /> ❑ sole provider of a licensed or patented good or service <br /> ❑ sole provider of items that are compatible with existing equipment,inventory,systems,programs or <br /> services <br /> ❑ sole provider of goods and services for which the City has established a standard** <br /> ❑ sole provider of factory-authorized warranty service <br /> ❑ sole provider of goods or services that will meet the specialized needs of the City or perform the intended <br /> function(please detail below or in an attachment) <br /> ❑ the vendor/distributor is a holder of a used item that would represent good value and is advantageous to the <br /> City(please attach information on market price survey,availability,etc.) <br /> 3. Must be upgradable from 180 degrees through 300 degrees of high definition screen coverage. <br /> b. Scenarios must be displayed in High Definition video quality. <br /> c. System must have a wireless shoot back capability (Shock Belt),controlled by the operator-(non <br /> Blue-tooth technology) <br /> d. System must have an elevated training stand with integrated 3-D spatial audio system <br /> e.
