Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to <br /> the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or the Washington State Energy Code, 2012 edition, unless noted otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. Floor plans of the units should be submitted that show the dimensions of the space. The <br /> plans should show the room sizes, locations of doors and windows, uses of the space as <br /> well as the information noted below. Some of the comments below only pertain when the <br /> finishes are removed, the plans should clearly show areas where the joist or wall cavity <br /> spaces are not exposed. Section 107.1 <br /> 2. A detail should be provided that shows the walls separating the dwelling units from each <br /> other and/or the stair enclosure are of minimum one-hour fire-resistive construction. <br /> Section 420.2 <br /> 3. A detail should be provided that shows the walls separating the dwelling units from each <br /> other and/or the stair enclosure provide a minimum of 50 STC. Section 1207.2 <br /> 4. A detail should be provided that shows the floors/ceiling assemblies separating the <br /> dwelling units from each other are of minimum one-hour fire-resistive construction. <br /> Section 420.3 <br /> 5.
