Revisions may be <br /> necessary so that a permit can be issued. All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information <br /> to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. <br /> Please submit two sets of revised drawings with a response letter indicating how these comments are <br /> resolved. Upon resubmission of the drawings, plan review will resume and your application will be given <br /> priority- <br /> General <br /> 1. There has been work without permits on the building noted in our records from 12/2000, which will <br /> require additional details, drawings, plan review, permitting, and inspections prior to being considered <br /> existing approved work. Please review the attached historical documents, and call me to arrange a site <br /> visit to review and discuss. <br /> 2. Please indicate the scope of new work to include details, sections, schedules, and elevations. New <br /> work includes revisions to ceilings, walls, doors, stairs, ramps, toilet rooms, and any other revision <br /> where a building permit is required, per IBC section 105.1. <br /> a. New walls should be targeted on the plans to detailed wall sections, showing the height of the <br /> wall to the ceiling or structure above. <br /> b. New swinging doors should numbered on the floor plans with to reference a door schedule for <br /> size, hardware, and door elevations. <br /> 2. The code analysis should include the applicable building codes. <br /> a. The National Electric Code edition is 2014. <br /> 3. Deferred permits include mechanical, Type I Hood, electrical, commercial kitchen plumbing, and <br /> plumbing permits. <br /> Occupancy <br /> 1. Occupancy types and calculations for square footage of use should be shown in the code analysis, per <br /> IBC table 1004.1.1. <br /> 2. The seating area shown will require a second toilet room. A seating area not exceeding 225 square <br /> feet is allowed to have one unisex toilet room, per IBC section 2902.2, exception 2. <br /> ! j <br />
