Portal 44 has suffered significant structural damage due to off gassing of chlorine fiom treated <br />water. The backwash pump station roof requires modification to accommodate the removal large pieces of <br />equipment located in the building. WFP safety railing's do not meet WAC 296-24-75011 specifications in <br />public tour route areas. This Professional Services Agreement will provide for the structural engineering <br />services required to refurbish Portal #4, modify the backwash pump station roof and bring the WFP safety <br />railings up to code. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with CG Engineering to provide <br />engineering design services for portal A re-rbislunzent, backwash pump station roof modifications and W17P <br />safety railing cede re uiremen[s in tele amount of 575,561. <br />183 <br />
